Tapit Trice and Angel of Empire Lead the Charge

The Kentucky Derby is one of the most prestigious races in the world, and this year's edition promises to be no different. With a field of talented horses, the race is wide open, but a few horses stand out as the ones to watch.

Tapit Trice is the morning line favorite at 5-1 odds. He has won two of his three starts this year, including the Grade 2 Wood Memorial Stakes, and he is expected to run from the favorable fifth post.

Angel of Empire is the only other horse with better than 10-1 odds to win. He is a Grade 1 winner and has finished in the top three in all five of his career starts. He will run from the eighth post.

Other horses to watch include Epicenter, who won the Louisiana Derby, and Zandon, who won the Bluegrass Stakes. Both horses are expected to run well in the Kentucky Derby.

The 2023 Kentucky Derby is set to be run on Saturday, May 6th at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky. The race will be broadcast live on NBC.
