LONDON (AP) — Barbora Krejcikova won Wimbledon for her second Grand Slam title with a 6-2, 2-6, 6-4 victory over Jasmine Paolini in an entertaining women's final Saturday.
Krejcikova, seeded 13th, became the second-lowest ranked player world No. 32 to secure the women's singles title at Wimbledon since the WTA Rankings began in 1975.
Krejcikova, who won the French Open in 2021, is the first Czech woman to win Wimbledon since Petra Kvitova in 2011 and 2014.
