Fulham Sack Manager Marco Silva Following Disappointing Run of Form
Relegation-Threatened Club Appoints New Manager in Hopes of Avoiding Relegation
West Ham United F.C. and Fulham F.C. part ways with their managers following a disappointing run of form.
West Ham United F.C. have sacked manager David Moyes after a disappointing run of form that has seen the club drop into the relegation zone.
Moyes had been in charge of the Hammers for two spells, but his second spell at the club has been less successful than his first.
The Hammers have won just one of their last seven Premier League games. They have lost their last four matches in a row.
Fulham F.C. have also sacked their manager, Marco Silva, following a run of poor results.
Silva had been in charge of Fulham for just over a year, but he has failed to improve the club's fortunes.
The Cottagers have won just one of their last eight Premier League games. They are currently 19th in the table, just one point above the relegation zone.
Both West Ham and Fulham will be hoping that their new managers can help them avoid relegation.
West Ham have appointed former Burnley manager Sean Dyche as their new manager.
Dyche has a good track record of keeping clubs in the Premier League. He kept Burnley in the top flight for six seasons.
Fulham have appointed former Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal as their new manager.
Van Gaal has a wealth of experience at the highest level. He has won league titles in the Netherlands, Spain, and England.
It remains to be seen whether Dyche and van Gaal can help West Ham and Fulham avoid relegation.
But both managers have a proven track record of success, so they will be confident of keeping their clubs in the Premier League.
